SP = 67.5
LOSS = 10%
CP = 67.5 * 100/90
= 75
now,
new sp = 82.5
gain = sp- cp
82.5 - 75
7.5
gain% = gain/CP * 100
7.5/75 *100
10%

Dear Student,

● Answer -

Seller will gain 10 % profit when he sells bucket 82.50 %.

● Explaination -

# Given -

SP1 = 67.50 %

Loss1 = 10 %

# Solution -

Let CP be cost price of the bucket.

SP1 = CP × (100 - loss1) / 100

67.50 = CP × (100-10)/100

67.50 = CP × 90/100

CP = 67.50 × 100/90

CP = 75 Rs

When SP is 82.50 Rs, there will be profit.

SP2 = CP × (100 + profit) / 100

82.50 = 75 × (100 + profit) / 100

100 + profit = 82.50 × 100 / 75

100 + profit = 110

Profit = 110 - 100

Profit = 10 %

Hence, seller will gain 10 % profit when he sells bucket 82.50 %.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
