Answer:

1 .Camouflage is a natural phenomenon used by plants and animals to blend into their environment. Predators and prey alike use camouflage to avoid detection. During this phenomenon, prey may change their skin colour or disguise themselves as per their surrounding colour so that other predators cannot detect them.

2.By natural selection, the nature of the species gradually changes to become adapted to the niche. If a species becomes very well adapted to its environment, and if the environment does not change, species can exist for a very long time before they become extinct.

3.The leaves are ribbon shaped so that they can bend with the flow of water rather than being broken. The leaves and other plant parts are covered with wax that prevent the plant and its parts from being wet.

4.Fish do not breathe air. They get the oxygen they need from the water they live in. Fish have special filters in the sides of their body called 'gills' that act as their 'lungs'. In bony fish the gills are located under a hard gill cover called the operculum.

5.Hibernation is a type of deep sleep some animals (like bears) go into during winter. Hibernation is like a long nap.

Examples are lizard,bears.
