(B) Solve the following questions.
i. In the adjoining figure, BC perpendicular AB, AD perpendicular AB,
BC = 4, AD = 8, then find
A(triangle ABC)

area of triangle=(base×height)/2

area of triangle ABC = (BC×AB)/2=(4×AB)/2=2AB

area of triangle ADB = (AD×AB)/2=(8×AB)/2=4AB

=2×2AB

=2× area of triangle ABC

area of triangle ADB = 2× area of triangle ABC

Area of triangle ABC= half of Area of triangle ADB

= (Area of triangle ADB)/2
