I am torn between my three favourite flowers: the poppy, the marigold, and the daffodil.

I have loved the poppy since I was a young child in France and my father took me out to the middle of a field of red and taught me the poem, “In Flanders Fields.”However, since I must make a choice, I am going to have to be a daffodil.  Because its sunshine yellow and trumpet-form flower are both joyful and glorious; because no flower gladdens my heart more at the sight;
