• Beryllium metal is a sought-after aerospace material for aircraft parts, missiles, spacecraft, and satellites due to its high flexural stiffness, thermal stability, thermal conductivity, and low density (1.85 times that of water) in structural applications.
• It is the most popular window material for X-ray equipment and a component of particle detectors because beryllium is relatively transparent to X-rays and other types of ionising radiation just because of its special low density and atomic mass.

• Malvaceae, the hibiscus, or mallow, family (order Malvales), contains at least 4,225 species of trees, shrubs, and plants spread among 243 genera. Despite being present everywhere but the coldest regions, representatives are most common in the tropics.
