procedure:-

take 2ml of hydrochloric acid in a testtube

and attach delivery tube to the conical flask now add some zinc granules to the acid contained in the testtube

the gas liberated and goes to conical flask

to identify the gas put a match stick and glow it suddenly a pop

sound comes that gas is HYDROGEN
