height is placed at a distance of 25 cm before mirror on principal axis.

Nature of image = virtual and erect

Image distance(V) = 6.66cm

Position of image = back side of mirror

Explanation:

f=-10cm u=-4cm ho=25cm

m = f/f-u = -10/-10-(-4) = 5/3 i.e. 1.66

since m>>+1 it implies that image is virtual,erect and magnified.

m=-v/u so, v=6.66cm which is +ve value means the image is formed at back side of mirror which is the 6th case of image formation in concave mirror.
