If HCF =32 then two numbers can be taken as ,

32*x & 32*y , where x&y are co prime (to make sure HCF is 32)

Now since sum is 256,

So, 32*(x+y)=256

X+y=256/32=8

x+y =8 and x&y are co prime.

So following are the possibilities exists for x&y are:

x,y ; 32*x , 32*y

1,7 ; 32*1 , 32*7 =32,224

2,6 ; not possible as not co prime

3,5 ; 32*3 , 32*5= 96,160

So two pairs formed are

(32,224)&(96,160)

Hence the solution.
