Solution:

Smaller number = a   ननी संख्या

Larger number = b    मोटी संख्या

HCF   =  a - 4    ल.सा. अ.

LCM = 2b     गु.सा.अ

HCF * LCM = Smaller Number * Larger Number

ल.सा. अ. * गु.सा.अ.  = ननी संख्या   * मोटी संख्या

=> (a - 4) 2b =  ab

=> (a - 4) 2 = a

=> 2a - 8 = a

=> a =  8  

Smaller Number   = 8

ननी संख्या = 8
