Answer:

1. When Bodh Raj lifted his catapult again after missing his Target thrice, they saw a large shadow moved lightly across the room, blocking the light from the ventilator which was the shadow of the kite. The myna chicks were fluttering their wings and shrieking loudly. Bodh Raj realised why broken eggs, wings, straw and bits of bird flesh littered the floor and he thought that the kite must have damaged the nest often. Then Bodh Raj brought a table under the myna's nest and he picked up a broken chair and placed it on the table. He climbed on the chair gently lifted the nest and slowly stepped down. Then Bodh Raj and the writer along with the myna chicks ran towards the door and went into the garage. There he keep the nest of the myna chicks on a box and after looking at them for a long time he said to the writer to bring some water and Bodh Raj fed the myna chicks with drops of water as he thought that the myna chicks were thirsty. Next day, he had neither catapult nor pebbles but he carried a bag of seeds and both of them fed the myna chicks and spent hours by watching their playful tricks.

2. a. Bodh Raj to the writer

b. The speakers character that is reflected in these lines are that as he used to go for hunting for birds and animals, mostly birds, so he knew a great deal on birds, like what types of birds are there, where they are found, the time they go to catch food and so on.

c. Yes, the speaker knew a good deal about birds as he noticed to tiny yellow beaks peeping out of the nest when he tried first to kill the birds and exclaimed to look at the birds to the writer and said that it is a Ganga Myna.
