. (b) Three blocks of masses 10 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg respectively are placed in constant with one a shown in figure. The mass of 30 kg is pushed with a force of 60 N. Find the force exerted by mass on 10 kg mass.​

For calculating force use the formula

a= F(net)/total mass

so a= 60/10+20+30

a= 60/60 = 1 m/s

now, if force is applied on 1 body then

tension between 2 and 3 body is

T1=mass x acceleration

= 30x1 = 30 N

and the tension between 1 and 2 body is

T = (30+20)x1 = 50N

so, acceleration on 30 kg mass block and 10 kg will be same

so, Acceleration=F/M=60/30=2 m/s²

so ,force on 10 kg mass=m×a

=10×2=20 Newton
