. (b) Three blocks of masses 10 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg respectively are placed in constant with one a shown in figure. The mass of 30 kg is pushed with a force of 60 N. Find the force exerted by mass on 10 kg mass.

Answer:
For calculating force use the formula
a= F(net)/total mass
so a= 60/10+20+30
a= 60/60 = 1 m/s
now, if force is applied on 1 body then
tension between 2 and 3 body is
T1=mass x acceleration
= 30x1 = 30 N
and the tension between 1 and 2 body is
T = (30+20)x1 = 50N

Answer:
acceleration on all blocks will same
so, acceleration on 30 kg mass block and 10 kg will be same
so, Acceleration=F/M=60/30=2 m/s²
so ,force on 10 kg mass=m×a
=10×2=20 Newton
