Miss Mason put off her glasses, blew on them and wiped them on her white handkerchief and then put them on again. Miss Mason advised the class to think about the whole incident which happened with Wanda and condemned them not to repeat it.

After reading the letter, she felt upset about the behaviour of the class and the way they had treated Wanda. She did not approve of such kind of bad behaviour. Miss Mason also said that none of the boys and girls had purposely hurt the feelings of Wanda, as his or her name was unknown to them.
