(i) If the mass of one object is doubled then the force between the two objects is doubled. Because force is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centres.

(ii) If the distance between the objects is doubled then the force between the objects becomes 1/4 th as the force between the objects is inversely proportional to the square of distance between them. And if the distance between the objects is tripled then the force between the object becomes 1/9th.
