The old man looked thin and shrunken. The narrator had never seen a more indescribable weariness than this old man. His withered face was sunk in deep, he had a pale, frail, small, trembling, bent frame. He looked scarcely more solid than dust and cobwebs that might be dispersed at a breath or a torch. This appearance of the old man made the narrator felt uncomfortable.
