Dholak is played by hitting its stretched membrane, so it is beating instrument. When we hit on these membranes, they vibrate to produce sound.

Sitar is played by stretching it's strings. It's string stretches to vibrate and produce sound but it does not have any relation with wind.

Table is played when we hit leather surface by our palm or fingers and then it vibrates i.e, the leather surface vibrates to produce sound.
