The rear wheels are not positioned at the very back of the bus instead they are positioned towards the centre of the bus. The results in more weigght on the rear wheels ( every passenger who sits behind the rear wheels the rear wheels puts extra weight on rear wheels and takes weight from the front wheels). Twin tyres are appropriate to take the extra weight
