Dear Papa,
Many thanks for your affectionate and inspiring letter, advising me how I can secure good marks in the university examination. I am sorry that so far I have not been working according to my time table but am studying only by fits and starts with no encouraging results.
Now I have made up my mind to devote fixed hours to different subjects according to my time table. But in order to prepare my lessons, I stand in need of some useful books other than text books. These will cost me around Rs. 1500/-. Therefore, I request your kind self to send me money as soon as possible, so that I could gird up my loins to study hard.
Rest is fine. Please convey my regards to dear mother and love to Sarika.
Yours Affectionately,
Rakhi
