The man is clever and is middle aged  holmes came to these conclusions when he saw the hat and the size of the hat was big so he thought the man with such head would have such a big brain and he saw the parts of hair inside the hats lining this prove that the man's hair had been recently cut and the smell of the lime cream means he lime creams his hair

     2. Holmes asked Mr Henry baker to collect the articles from 221 B, Baker     Street. This is what brought Mr Baker to Sherlock Holmes

 3.The main idea of the story revolves around a very precious blue coloured stone. Which is also known as Blue Carbuncle.

• Mrs Peterson was cooking a Goose when he discovered that the  Blue Carbuncle is in the throat of the Goose. Blue carbuncle belonged to Countess of Morcar and it was stolen from her hotel room.

• The goose was sold to someone and it was becoming difficult to find the stone for holmes.

• Suddenly an idea pooped up to his mind that having just found out who had sold the Geese may save their visit to Brixton Road. He said this to Mrs. Oakshott of Brixton Road.
