Explanation:

I had an interview Miss Ramola to learn about her journey of teaching in the village.

Miss Ramola was a Sanskrit teacher who came to a local village to teach villagers about their local language. Miss Ramola was quite a dedicated teacher, who was given a tough time initially but eventually he convinced the villagers the need to learn their own language and so the villagers gathered in his last session as a gesture of respect and honor of their teacher Miss Ramola. This session was special as it was the last time villagers were meeting their mentor

Here is what an interview with Miss Ramola could be like:

Question 1: Since you have just finished college and this is your first teaching assignment, what do you think you will learn from it?

Answer: Well, since this is my first job, I think I will get to know what teaching is actually about. I am not sure what to expect, but I will definitely get some experience and I hope to be able to cherish it forever.

Question 2: If you had a choice, would you want to come back 10 years later to teach in a village rather than doing it today? Why?

Answer: No, I don't think I would want to postpone this project for later. I am really excited and full of energy. 10 years down the line I may not be so open to shifting to a village.

Question 3: What do you feel will be the biggest challenge while teaching in the village?

Answer: Connecting with the children and earning their trust as well as the trust of their parents will be the biggest challenge, but I am sure it is just a matter of time.

Question 4: How do you plan to bring the village children at par with children from the city?

Answer: This cannot happen immediately. It will take time. I intend to take it slow and steady with the village children, so that they are not overwhelmed. I do not want them to lose interest in studies.

Question 5: Since this is a village school, how much extra effort do you expect to put in here, other than the regular working hours?

Answer: I don't think I can call it extra effort, because since I myself would not have much to do, or have a social life, I would anyway be inclined to meet the parents of the children after school hours. I want to be able to understand their thinking so that I know how best to handle the children.

Question 6: What do you plan to do to encourage the villagers to educate their children?

Answer: Ideally, I would have wanted to give them statistics, but that will not work with the villagers who probably do not understand statistics. So, I intend to present the life stories of role models in front of them. People like Santosh Yadav, the Phogat sisters, Kalpana Chawla should hopefully motivate them to educate their daughters.

Question 7: What are the top three things that you would want to instill in the children's minds?

Answer: First that they can achieve whatever they want to.

Second that there are a lot of choices to make in life, but you need education to help you make the right choice.
