National Level CBSE Table Tennis Tournament
I happened to come across an opportunity to participate in the national level CBSE table tennis tournament which was held in Chennai. The event was organised by the TATA group in association with the Table Tennis Federation of India. The event was judged by two reputed table tennis players, Manika Batra and Hemant Desai.
Students from across the country participated in this event. Our team played fairly well throughout the tournament, however, we could qualify till the quarter-finals only. Although it was a bit depressing we were grateful to have the chance of participating in this event.
The judges applauded all the participants mentioning that they were surprised that there were so many talented aspiring players. They even graced us by playing a friendly match against each other. It was a spectacular sight. All in all the event was a great experience for everyone who attended it.
