Beggar in our country are a common sight. Many of them are genuinely destitute with no home or means of livelihood, but some of them are frauds. If we give money to beggars, there is high chance that they wouldn't spend it on food or shelter.

So, how to help them who beg -

• Just because you're not giving money to a beggar it doesn't mean that you can't buy them something instead. Food is the best option to help them or some warm clothing in winter would be appreciated by them.
• But the problem is most of the beggars we see are not the real one in need. They are doing beggary as they are lazy to work, they think begging is the easy way to earn money than doing work. They find begging a lucrative business. There are organised gangs in our country which operates in a professional manner- they kidnap children and forcibly initiate them into this horrible method of earning money.
• We see many beggars on daily basis who are fit enough to earn money but instead of doing some business they beg shamelessly. So, stop supporting such people only then they would move forward to get a job and start living a respected life on their own.
• Those unfortunate people who are blind and are not physically able to earn food money for them should be helped.
• Beggars are a blot on our country. Unless the problem is tackled at the root, and all those who indulge in this shameful business rehabilitated, we cannot call ourselves a civilised and progressive nation.
• See this child how hard it is for him to earn money but still he prefers to earn money instead of begging. Salute to this kind of brave persons who want to live a respected life on their own. We should buy from them instead of giving money to fraud beggars.
