B1, B2 and 3 are three identical bulbs connected
as shown in Fig.When all the three bulbs Glow, a
current of 3A IS recorded by the ammeter A.
(a) What happens to the glow of the other two bulbs
when the bulb B1 gets fused?
(b) What happens to the reading of A1, A2, A3 and
A when the bulb B2 gets fused?
(c) How much power is dissipated in the circuit

Here is your answer.....

First of all, your question is not complete friend, as figure is missing and secondly voltage potential is not given.

But let us consider,

Voltage is 4.5V

Now,

Resistance of combination of three bulbs in parallel would be,

R(eq) = V/I

======> 4.5V/3A

======> 1.5 ohms

let R is the resistance in each wire.

Then,

Total resistance would be,

1/R(eq) = 1/R + 1/R + 1/R

1/R(eq) = 3/R

so,

R = 3R(eq)

=> 3 * 1.5

=> 4.5 ohms

So, current in each bulb (I) = V/R

=> 4.5/4.5 => 1A

Now,come to your que.)

(a) When bulb B1 gets fused, the currents in B2 and .B3 remain same I2 = I3 = 1A, so their glow remains same as it is.

(b) When bulb B2 gets fused, the current in B2 becomes zero and currents in B1 and B3 remains 1A.

(c) Power dissipated (P) = V²/R(eq)==> (4.5)²/1.5 ==> 13.5W
