It was 9 p.m. and I was walking along the road when I suddenly heard a sound from the bush next to me. I got taken aback since the park was closed, there was no one who could have been there at that hour of the night. However, the sound did not stop. As soon as I was about to make a run for home, out a nowhere a small black fur ball jumped out of the bush. To my surprise, it was a little kitten. She had fur as black as the night sky and her eyes glistened under the moonlight. It was indeed a black beauty. The cat kept meowing at me as if it wanted to tell me something. I realised it must have been hungry so I got a milk packet from the nearby convenience store. As I saw the kitten happy sip the milk from a container, I gently pet her head.
Ever since that day, the little kitten came to visit me at that same spot quite frequently. It had become a routine for us to meet at the said location.
