Baba capacity= 1/10th work/day

Anshu capacity= 1/15th work/day

Together they complete the work in 1/10+1/15 = 5/30 = 1/6th of work in 1 day.

That means they complete the work in 6 days.

Now baba's capacity is 1/10th work/day. So 50*1/10 = 5/- per day. He works for 6 total days, so 6*5 = 30/-

Answer:

Option 1 is correct .i.e., Rs. 30.

Step-by-step explanation:

we are given,

No of days taken by Baba to complete a work = 10

No of days taken by Anshu to complete same work = 15

Total wages of work = Rs. 50

work done by Baba in a day =\frac{1}{10}

work done by Anshu in a day =\frac{1}{15}

⇒ total work done by both in a day =\frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{15}=\frac{3+2}{30}=\frac{1}{6}

So, No days taken them to complete work = \frac{1}{\frac{1}{6}}=6

Wage Paid t0p Baba in a day = 50\times\frac{1}{10}=Rs.\,5

⇒ Wage paid to papa for 6 days = 5 × 6 = Rs. 30

Therefore, Option 1 is correct.
