CP = 160*48 = Rs. 7680

Weight sold at Rs. 70 
= 70% of 160= 70*160/100
= 112 kg
Amount gained here = 70*112 = Rs. 7840

Weight sold at Rs. 40
= Original weight - Already sold weight
= 160 - 112= 48 kg
Amount gained here = 48*40 = Rs. 1920

Therefore, SP = 7840 + 1920 = Rs. 9760

Profit = SP - CP= 9760 - 7680 = Rs. 2080

Therefore, gain %= (Profit/CP)*100= (2080/7680)*100= 27.0833 %
