Answer :

Babu scored 155 marks for the exam

Given :

• Marks given for one correct answer = 3

• Marks given for ‎Total correct answers provided by Babu = 50

• Total incorrect answers provided by Babu = 25

To Find :

• The total marks scored by Babu.

Solution :

→ Total marks scored by Babu for the correct answers :-

= Total no. of correct answers x Mark for each correct answer

= 50 x 3

= 150 marks

Total marks scored by Babu for incorrect answers :-

= Total no. of incorrect answers x Marks for each incorrect answer

= 25 x (-1)

= -25 marks

Total marks scored by Babu for the exam:

Marks for correct answers + Marks for incorrect answers
