मेरे लिए मेरी माँ प्रथम पूज्य हैं। मेरे दिन का प्रारम्भ उनके आशीर्वाद से होता है। उनकी दुआओं का ही असर है कि आज हम खुशहाल जिंदगी जी रहे हैं
भगवान हमारी किस्मत हमारे कर्मों के आधार पर लिखते हैं। पर माँ हमारी किस्मत हमारे बुरे कर्मों को माफ़ कर के लिखती है। इस तरह वो मेरे लिए धरती माँ की तरह हैं जो अपने अच्छे और बुरे बच्चों में कोई भेद नहीं करती है।
मेरे लिए मेरी माँ मेरी सबसे अच्छी सहेली है। हम बच्चों को मात-पिता ने, कैसे कैसे पाला।
हमको कुछ भी समझ न आया, जाने ऊपरवाला।
माँ की ममता क्या होती है, माँ कैसी होती है।
सब कुछ बच्चों को दे देती, खुद भूखी सोती है।
ऐसी माँ के चरणों में हम, नित नित शीश झुकाएं।
कोशिश अपनी इतनी है बस, वो आंसू न बहाए।।
मात-पिता से बढ़कर जग में, नहीं है कोई दूजा।
