BACHENDRI PAL took a risk as there were no women as role models which have took interest in mountaineering.
She was the first woman to climb MT EVEREST and had less than 3 years of experience.
Her parents also seem not to be positive bcuz according to them it was synonymous to hardship, risk & death
She had confidence on her unique techniques and on her exceptional stamina
WHEREAS
for ANG DORJEE it was a challenge because he was climbing this summit without oxygen supply and it was his first summit without oxygen.Due to lack of oxygen his feet would get cold therefore he could climb the peak and return to SOUTH COL the same day or give up the summit
