bacteria do not have chloroplast but some time some bacteria are phototrophic in nature and perform photosynthesis. which part of bacterial cell perform this activity

Some bacteria can perform photosynthesis and their photosynthetic pigments are not present in chloroplasts instead are present on the extensions of plasma membrane called chromatophores.
