Makar Sankrantic is the only Hindu festival that is celebrating on a fixed calendar day.
It has bad effects that include solar Calendar and other Indian festivals are taking part as pee the lunar.
It makes the day of celebration on the solar calendar vary every year.

These days we use synthetic Manja..(thin rope used to fly kite along)
synthetic Manjha is very very dangerous as sometimes when the birds fly in the sky then due to synthetic Manja their wings are cut off. They suffer from lot a lot.
Infact humans get also affected due to synthetic Manja.
