Baichung's father is 26 years younger than Baichung's grandfather and 29 years older than Baichung. The sum of the ages of all the three is 135 years. What is the age of each one of them?​

the age of each of them

Solution :-

age of baichug's father + 26 = age of baichug's grandfather

age of baichug's grandfather = age of baichug's father + 26

age of baichug's grandfather

⇝ (X + 29) + 26

⇝ (X + 55) years

now according to question :-

$\sf⇝ \: sum \: of \: all \: age \: is \: 135 \: years$

$\sf⇝ x + (x + 29) + (x + 55) = 135$

$\sf⇝3x + 84 = 135$

$\sf⇝3x = 135 - 84$

$\sf⇝3x = 51$

$\sf⇝x = \frac{51}{3} = 17$

so therefore baichug's age = 17 years

baichug's father age = X + 29 = 17 + 29 = 46

baichug's grandfather age = X + 55 = 17 + 55 = 72 years

$\longmapsto\tt{3x-81=135}$

$\longmapsto\tt{3x=135+81}$

$\longmapsto\tt{3x=216}$

$\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{216}{3}}$
