History of bakery started during the Roman Empire (i.e. 300 BC). Baking is considered to be one of the respectable occupations during Roman civilisation. It got spread over and reached Asia, where bakers stared preparing stuffs from home and started selling in streets.
Some old baking methods are vanished after the raise of junk foods. People should prefer traditional baked items than the new ones.
