They start embroidering the shawl together, but two days later Renu gives up the work.
In how many days will Bala finish the remaining work of embroidering the shawl?​

according to the question

work done by Bala in one day  = 1/10

work done by Renu in one day  = 1/15

work done in 2 days = 2/10 + 2/15

                                   = 6+4/30

                                   = 10/30

                                   = 1/3

work left = 1 - 1/3

               = 3-1/3

               = 2/3

time taken by Renu to do rest of the work = > x/15 = 2/3

                                                                           x = 2/3 * 15

                                                                           x = 10

therefore the rest of the work took 10 days for Bala to finish
