Refer to the attachment.

Additional information :-

For balance the equation by using ion electron method steps are :-

Step 1 :-

  • Calculate the oxidation number of all compound or element present in the reaction.

Step 2 :-

  • See that which compound or element is oxidising or reducing.

Step 3 :-

  • Select oxidation half and reduction half

Step 4 :-

  • Balance oxidation half and reduction half respectively.

Step 5 :-

  • If Oxygen is more in reactant side or product side then add water where oxygen is less.

Step 6 :-

  • Add H+ ion opposite to where water is added.

Note :-

➳If 1 molecule of water is added in reactant side then, 2 H+ ion should be added in product side.

➳If 2 molecule of water is added in product side then, 4H+ ion should be added in reactant side.

Step 7 :-

  • Cancel out no. of electrons involve in the reaction by multiplying some digit.

Step 8: :-

  • Solve the equation

Step 9 :-

  • Check the number of charge in both reactant side and product side. (If charge is equal in reactant side and product side then your answer is correct).
