Dear,, the formula you wrote here for zinc hydroxide is not correct.

Zinc hydroxide: Zn(OH)2

Now Balancing can be done.

i. e.

ZnO + 2H2O = Zn(OH)2 +H2

Extra:

Formula is written by criss crossing the valencies

Valency of zinc is 2

And of hydroxide is 1

Criss crossing them gives Zn(OH)2
