In the given reaction,

\mathrm{BaCl}_{2}+\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{SO}_{4} \rightarrow \mathrm{BaSO}_{4}+\mathrm{HCl}

Here check the elements at both sides:

1 Ba atom  = 1 Ba atom = Balance

2 Cl atoms =  Must be 2 Cl atoms = not balance

2 H atoms =  Must be 2 Cl atoms = not balance

1\ \mathrm{SO}_{4} \text { ion }=1\ \mathrm{SO}_{4}= \text { balance }

Hence the balance equation must be:

\mathrm{BaCl}_{2}+\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{SO}_{4} \rightarrow \mathrm{BaSO}_{4}+2 \mathrm{HCl}
