To balance the equation:-

Hydrogen + Chlorine ---------> Hydro Chloric acid

H2 + CL2 ---------> HCL

Solution:-

H2 + CL2 -------> HCL

=> H2 + CL2 -------> 2HCL

=> H2 + 2CL2 -------> 2HCL

=> H2 + 2CL2 -------> 4HCL

=> 2H2 + 2CL2 -------> 4HCL✌

Answer:-

2H2 + 2CL2 -------> 4HCL

Answer:

Cl2(g) + H2(g) → 2 HCl(g) As the reaction is exothermic, the installation is called an HCl oven or HCl burner. The resulting hydrogen chloride gas is absorbed in deionized water, resulting in chemically pure hydrochloric acid.
