Explanation:

Redox Reaction:- When oxidation and reduction take place simultaneously.

Reduction :- Gain of hydrogen atom and lossing oxygen atom.

Oxidation :- Gain of Oxygen atom and lossing hydrogen atom.

When zinc react with nitric acid it gives zinc nitrate and nitrogen gas.

Zn = Zinc

HNO3 = Nitric acid

Zn(NO3)2 = Zinc nitrate

H20 = Water

N2 = Nitrogen
