Bali has 3 sons
Let the no of chocolate he has be x chocolates
Acc to the question
※To the eldest child:
(X/2)+4 .................................................... (1)
Chocolate left=x-[(x/2)+4] = (x-6)/2 ................................(2)
※to the secound eldest:
1/3[(x-6)/2]+4 = (x+18)/6 ............................(3)
Chocolate left is (2)- (3)
=(x-18)/3 .............................................(4)
※ to the youngest child:
1/4[(x-18)/3]+4 =(x+30)/2 ......................................(5)
Chocolate left (4)-(5)
=(x-34)/4 ..........................................(6)
Given in question that the balance chocolate left is 11
Therefore equating ...(6) = 11
(X-34)/4=11
X-34=44
X=78 the initial no of chocolate he had.!!
