Ban on the use of polythene article

We should ban the polythene bags as it harms our environment and when burnt releases poisonous gases which is very harmful for us. If a polythene bag is lying and sand is covered on it, it doesn't allow water to perforate in. And some animals like cow eat the inside food of that bag and also some amount of polythene bag is also ingested by that animals. Recently, 10-15kgs of polythene material was found inside cows intestine. So polythene must be banned and we should use cloth bags.....
