TIL Band-aids emit a blue flash of light when pulled apart - visible to the human eye when you do it in the dark! I'm fairly certain this works with duct tape too. A primitive method of producing X-ray images has been developed in which the rays are produced by rapidly unravelling a reel of sticky tape.
