(i) Cheques of Shyam Rs. 9,000 and of Mohan Rs. 15,000 were deposited but were not collected up to 30th June, 2017.
(ii) Ramesh, a debtor, deposited a cheque of Rs. 8,000 directly into the bank.
(iii) Bank allowed an interest of Rs. 500.
(iv) Cheque for Rs. 10,000 issued to Ramesh was not presented for payment.
(v) Bank debited the account by Rs. 6,000, being insurance premium paid as per standing instructions.

Answer:
The balance as per cash book is $.
Explanation:
Given bank account balance is $.
a. Cheque issued but rejected by the bank
Which means the amount of the cheque issued was already recorded in the cash book but not in the bank, thus the bank's balance would be in excess of that amount, and we would have to lower it by that amount.
b. Bank fees are not recorded in the cash book which are $.
It is only recorded in the bank book, not the cash book, thus the bank balance must be added to get the cash book balance.
c. Unknown client receipt was not recorded in the cash book, thus the bank balance would be higher, so subtract that amount.
$ - $ + $ - $
$
Thus, the balance as per cash book is $.
