its not os its a sotfware program depending on the needs of the user..they may use any os ..Windows or linux or mac..most of the banks use finacle..software it uses a user code meant for employees only to work..its highly safe and secure environment..to work with...but some use redhat..based on unix...these r some of the highly secure and easy to work with os..nowadays kali is coming to fore its highly secure command based os by linus..reservation and banking r mere software suites like ms office ,tally, busy or some r server based to avoid any data loses in case of power so system failure...just like facebook ..or google account its stays there and u can retrieve when u want..using a passcode..
