It is given that,

Banu bought 4 metres of ribbon and Rajan

bought 2, 000 cm of ribbon.

In order to find the difference, we've to make the the units equal.

We know that,

  • 1 m = 100 cm.

So,

Rajan bought ribbon ( in metres )

= 2000/100

= 20 m

Here,

20 m > 4 m

It means Ranjan bought more ribbon.

= 20 - 4

= 16 m

Ranjan bought more ribbons by 16 m.
