Banu is 20 years older than Binu. In 5 years, Banu will be twice as old as Binu. Find their present age

Let Binu present age be x years old
Banu age be x+20 years old
⇒5 years hence,
 
  Binu age = x + 5
  Banu age = 20 + x + 5
                  = 25 + x
Banu age = 2 × (Binu age)
       25 + x = 2 × ( x + 5 )
       25 + x = 2x + 10
       25 - 10 = 2x - x
               15 = x
Therefore, x = 15 (age of Binu)
                 20 + x = 20 + 15 
                            = 35(age of Banu)
