If three bar magnets each of magnetic moment m are arranged in the form of an equilateral triangle such that unlike poles are in contact.the resultant magnetic moment is
As magnetic moment is a vector, so we know

MR = (M12 + M22 +M3²)1/2  

and as here M1= M2 = M3 as it is equilateral triangle and θ = 60°, so

MR=root of 3M

MR²=3M

is the resultant magnetic fields
