Barb wants to get 8 out of every 10 questions right on her test. If there are 35 questions on the test, how many Barb want to get right?

Solution :-

Given : Barb wants to get 8 out of every 10 questions right on her test.

Let he get x out of every 35 questions right on the test.

According to the question,

=> 8/10 = x/35

=> 10x = 35 × 8

=> x = 280/10 = 28

Hence,

He get 28 out of every 35 questions right on the test.

Barb want to get 8 Correct Answer in every 10 Questions.

To Find:-

Number of Correct Answer = ?

Find:-

Let "x" be the Number of Answers she wants to get Correct.

In Every 10 Question, she wants to get 8 Correct.

=) The Ratio of Correct Answer to the Total Number of Questions = 8/10.______(1)

& Total Number of Questions = 35

Total Number of Correct Answer = x

=) The Ratio of Correct Answer to the Total Number of Questions = x/35________(2)

A.T.Q

8/10 = x/35

=) x = (35 × 8)/10

=) x = 3.5 × 8

=) x = 28.

Hence,

The Number of Answers she wants to get Correct = "x" = 28.
