• Language - people have to understand one another to communicate.
• Emotions - shy people or those who are anxious around others have trouble focusing and thus communicating effectively.
• Differences - Some people are not tolerant of other view points. They argue their point and cannot actively listen to another belief.
• Physical disability - Loss of hearing and vision can be a barrier to effective communication, however, this is one of the easier barriers to get around, if both parties are willing
