Given :  Barry has two cubes of different sizes.

The first cube has a volume of 1 cubic unit.

The second cube has sides one-third as long as the first cube does.

To Find : Volume of the second cube

Solution:

The first cube has a volume of 1 cubic unit.

Volume of cube = Side³

=> Side³ = 1

=> side =  1  unit

The second cube has sides one-third as long as the first cube does.

=> Side of 2nd cube = 1/3  unit

Volume of the second cube  = (1/3)³

= 1/27  cubic units

Volume of the second cube  =  1/27  cubic units
