Given:-

  • Base of triangle = 22cm.
  • Area of triangle = 170.5 cm²

To find:-

  • Height of the triangle.

Formula to be used:-

\underline{\boxed{\bf Area\: of \: triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} × base × height}}

Solution:-

\longrightarrow 170.5 = \sf\dfrac{1}{2} × 22 × h

\longrightarrow 170.5 = 11×height

\longrightarrow \sf\dfrac{170.5}{11} = height

\longrightarrow height = 15.5 cm.

Additional information:-

  • Area of a square :-

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{\bf Area\: of \: Square = a²}}

here, a = side of the square

  • Area of a rectangle:-

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{\bf Area\: of \: rectangle = l×b}}

here,

  • l = length of rectangle
  • b = breadth of rectangle
